Please note: the
Health Authority authorises us to have 3.5 whole time doctors in this
practice and therefore not all the doctors are full-time. This will
explain why it is sometimes difficult to see the doctor of your choice,
particularly at short notice.
Additionally, we have:

GENERAL
PRACTICE TRAINING SCHEMES
Our practice is a recognised
training practice.
Dr Field and Dr Thomas are GP trainers who
supervise doctors in training within the practice.
The doctors in
training are:
Dr Alice Beverly
Nurse
Practitioner
Belinda Owen is a fully qualified nurse who has undertaken further advanced training that qualifies her to be a nurse practitioner. She is available almost every day (check with reception) to help relieve the doctors of cases of minor illness and injury including earache, coughs and colds, rashes and impetigo, tummy pains, diarrhoea and vomiting, thrush, worms, cystitis, head lice, cuts, bruises and possible fractures. Belinda can also give contraceptive advice including 'pill checks' and Implanon implants. She always has a doctor's support available and will seek advice and obtain prescriptions as necessary. She also manages patients with chronic conditions such as diabetes and heart disease. Booking to see Belinda enables the doctors to concentrate on the more complicated and serious conditions.
