Repeat Prescriptions

If you are taking regular medication you will be issued with a computerised repeat prescription form: when you need more regular medication please tick the box next to each item required and deliver or fax/post to the surgery (if we are closed please put it through the letter box by the back door).

Alternatively you may order your repeat medication online.

Collecting your prescriptions:

Allow 2 full working days before collecting your prescription:

Non-dispensing patients: Collect from any chemist using the Electronic Prescription Service. The nearest chemist is Lloyds, North Street, Ashburton.

Dispensing patients: Collect from the Surgery during opening hours (we may dispense medication to you only if you live more than a mile, as the crow flies, from your nearest chemist].

Alternatively you can opt to collect your prescription from Reception and take to a different chemist, or we can post your prescription to you (please include a stamped, self-addressed envelope if you wish us to do this).

You can also leave your repeat prescription with Lloyds Chemist, however please allow an extra day for it to be turned around.

We regret that we cannot take telephone requests. This rule minimises errors and is for your safety. If you require medication urgently, please contact reception, email or use the E-Consult service.

Medication Reviews

Patients on repeat medication will be asked to see either a doctor or member of the nursing team at least once a year to review these regular medications. The date by which the next review should be performed is printed on the medication repeat slip.
