Ordering your repeat prescription
You can order your repeat prescriptions by using the NHS App. Owned and run by the NHS, it is a simple and secure way to access a range of NHS services online.
Alternatively, you can use the Systmonline Patient Online Service. You need to register to use this online repeat prescription ordering service, and this is best done in person at the surgery. Please speak to one of our receptionists.
Repeat prescriptions can also be ordered by completing the right-hand section of your previous prescription form and either leaving it at the surgery or sending it to us by post (if we are closed, please put it through the letter box by the back door).
Unfortunately, we cannot take telephone requests. This rule minimises errors and is for your safety. If you require medication urgently, please contact our reception by email or complete the “Contact Us Online” form on our website
Collecting your prescriptions
Allow up to 2 working days for the Surgery to process your repeat medication request:
Non-dispensing patients: if your prescription is sent to the nominated community or online pharmacy (using the Electronic Prescription Service), please allow up to 7 working days for your medication to be assembled by the pharmacy team.
Dispensing patients: Collect from the Surgery during our opening hours (we can only dispense medication to you if you live more than a mile, as the crow flies, from the nearest community pharmacy).
Alternatively you can opt to collect your prescription from Reception and take to a pharmacy of your choice.
Medication reviews
We are keen to ensure that patients with ongoing medical problems are monitored regularly. If the date for your next review with a doctor or nurse has passed you will be asked to make an appointment.
